It took 7 seasons, but it finally happened!...,Len Engel has taken the Wornick Team to the promised land and delivered the first home-grown championship to the PJCC! The team had talent all along. Maybe it was the previous Silver and Black.  This year, they changed their image and their attitudes.  With a new image and team name, the Broncos, they worked together and conquered giants.  When they posted an undefeated season, many experts thought they would come apart  in the playoffs.  But when they met the Raider in the playoffs, they had an opportunity to abolish their old image via their oppenent.  Beating the Raiders 22-6 in the AFC Divisional Playoff, they were then able to beat the Patriots 20-6 AFC Championship.  The team that had represented the AFC in the Super Bowl for the last 3 seasons!  And just when it couldnt get any more difficult, the Wornick's Broncos had to face the height of Milian Baldini and the defending Super Bowl Champs for the ultimate prize of the PJCC....all this without the help of a ladder and after participating in a Jr. NBA basketball game in between their  AFC Championship and the Super Bowl!  The Packers did exploit their advantages as they had done so in the NFC Championship against the Vikings.  Though the Pakers appeared to have the height advantage, the Broncos regrouped and proved that football is a TEAM game.  Their defense was tenacious!  Not stopping the Packer Passing attack but controlling, the Broncos were able to bring the Super Bowl championship to a place so close yet so foreign; to WORNICK!  Congratulations to the Broncos!!!
